The assessor at that time informed him there had been a computer
error. He thought the assessor was going to figure out his taxes based on a $68,000 value
and now his property is valued at $74,000. He does not feel that is a fair value and asked
that the present assessor check to see if his property value was previously lowered.

Mr. Thurston stated they would review his case and if the valuation amount is incorrect, it
will be corrected.

Mariann Johnson, (PIN 20-32-25-42-0026) 15131 Jackel Street N.W., Ramsey, felt she
did not receive a fair market value assessment of her home. She did research on her
neighbor's home which is the same floor plan but in much better repair and contains more
amenities and felt that her home value should not be comparable to theirs. She stated that
two years ago she appeared before this Board and got her property valuation lowered due
to a computer error. She felt the $8,000 increase in property value for taxes payable 1994
had to be an error.

Board of Review/April 1, I993
