PUBLIC HEARING CITY COUNCIL CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA I I I I I I I I I I I I I I i$ The Ramsey City Council conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, April 13, 1993 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota, to hear comment regarding the extension of sanitary sewer and watermain improvement to 150th Lane N,W. and Helium Street N.W.; Improvement Project ~92-22. Members Present: Mayor James Gilbertson Councilmember Sheila Beyer Councilmember Glen Hardin Councilmember Kenneth Peterson Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman Also Present: City Administrator Ryan Schroeder City Attorney Wil/iam Goodrich City Engineer Steven Jankowski Anoka Union Reporter Kim Knutson CALL TO ORDER Mayor Gilbertson called the public hearing to order at 7:15 p.m. CITIZEN INPUT Steve Liekhus, 15000 Helium Street N.W., Ramsey, stated that the residents have read and discussed the feasibility study and have decided that sewer and water are not presently feasible. He submitted a petition against the project. PRESENTATION City Engineer Jankowski stated that the petition was signed by a sufficient number of residents. Such petition is entered as public record. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to close the public hearing. Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Hardin and Zimmerman. Voting No: None.
