! <br />! <br /> <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i$ <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, April 13, 1993 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota, to hear <br />comment regarding the extension of sanitary sewer and watermain improvement to 150th <br />Lane N,W. and Helium Street N.W.; Improvement Project ~92-22. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor James Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />City Attorney Wil/iam Goodrich <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br />Anoka Union Reporter Kim Knutson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson called the public hearing to order at 7:15 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Steve Liekhus, 15000 Helium Street N.W., Ramsey, stated that the residents have read and <br />discussed the feasibility study and have decided that sewer and water are not presently <br />feasible. He submitted a petition against the project. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that the petition was signed by a sufficient number of <br />residents. <br /> <br />Such petition is entered as public record. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to close the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Hardin <br />and Zimmerman.
