With regard to found hicyel,e, s, etc., Chief Auspos mentioned an organization that fLxes up bikes to give to needy '~kids. He inquired if that would be something the City could participate. He was direc~.A to check into the State Statute with regard to public auction for found bikes, etC. : With reg~d to standby hours for the Police Officers, it was suggested that Chief Auspos have the Finance Department print out the standby hours by type for 1992 and 1993. There were no significant changes or comments to the other functions listed. _ Engineering: Steve Jankowska City Engineer Jankowski reviewed each of the functions listed for 1994, 1993 and 1992. City A .dn~ 'strator Schroeder suggested having Staff do spreadsheets of all the engineering projects, beginning 1991, as far as construction activity. With rega/z4 to a reproducible City street lighting map, Mr. lankowski stated he would check with!,Anoka Electric Cooperative to see what they have. "Assist and provide oversight in the development of a Comprehensive Water System Plan" had an original status of no action. Mr. Jankowski stated it is scheduled to be completed by November 1993. Complete feasi,bility study on thc bituminous surfacing of dirt streets - Mr. Jankowski anticipate~fgetttng the feasibility studies done by the end of 1993 and anticipates the projects to !~ in process by the end of 1994. The status with regard to the Bison Street N.W. extension was listed as removed. That is changed to ~'a new feasibility study has been ordered". The status Of "complete the extension of the Highway #10 sewer and water project during 1992" was ~sted as complete. That status is changed to "in process" as the easements have not been fir/ailed. With regard to the thickness of paving, Andover has gone to 3". Mr. Jankowski will be checking with COon Rapids as to what thickness they use. Propose a grogram of completing boundary and topographical survcys for developable parks. ProI~osed is one boundary and topo survey for one park including a development plan for 1994. With regard, to billing Engineering Staff time, it is projected that most of the engineering work load Will be non-revenue producing, therefore, will not be meeting the goal in 1994. Initiate planning for a possible extension of the 167th Avenue N .W. Corridor. It was suggested th~t~ this corridor should be added to the Capital Improvements Program.
