It was the Consensus of the Subcommittee that the concern was mostly with single family <br />dwellings ai3d that accessory structures could be governed reasonably with a building permit. <br />Therefore, to omit reference to accessory structures the following amendments were suggested: <br />The secon.d, paragraph should read "An ordinance adding Section 8.35 to Chapter 8 regulating <br />single famil~ dwellings to be moved into or within the City of Ramsey." In the first paragraph of <br />Section 2, omit the wording "and Accessory Structures." In Subd. 3, omit item 1. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the Subcommittee to amend the first paragraph of Subd. 7 to read "The <br />building to ~ moved must comply in all respects with the City of Ramsey Building Code and other <br />applicable ordinances, unless..." They also directed staff to make shorter sentences in this <br />paragraph fOr better comprehension. <br /> <br />The Subcommittee felt the City needed assurances that a project will be completed, however a <br />$50,000 building would not need the same £maneial guarantee as a $200,000 building. It was the <br />consensus o,~ the Subcommittee to amend Subd. 8 Fees, Escrows and Financial Guarantees, item <br />(b) to read 'The form of the financial guarantee shall be cash deposit or an irrevocable Letter of <br />Credit, approved as to form by the City, in an amount to be determined on a cases by case basis. <br />The financial guarantee..." <br /> <br />Subcommitme Deemer suggested that applicants be given, at the time of application, a specific <br />timetable outlining how long the process will take. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to adjourn the <br />meeting <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Hendriksen and Deemer. <br />Voting No: None.
