Councilmember Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #07-10-272 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0812, TO DENY THE PRELIMINARY PLAT AND PRELIMINARY SITE PLAN OF EBONY WOODS WHEREAS, on August 14, 2006, the City of Ramsey received an application from DPM Investments (the "Applicant") requesting a Comprehensive Plan Amendment, Rezoning, Preliminary Site Plan, and Preliminary Plat for the following legally described property: Lot 3, Block 4, Riverside West, Anoka County, Minnesota, according to the recorded plat thereof and that part of Lot 1, Block 1, Riverview Bowl, Anoka County, Minnesota according to the recorded plat thereof lying southerly of the westerly extension of the north line of Lot 2, Block 1, said plat of Riverview Bowl. (The Subject Property) AND WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan approved in 2001 shows the Subject Property designated land use as Places to Shop; and WHEREAS, the Subject Property is currently zoned B-2 Business; and WHEREAS, as proposed the plat of Ebony Woods is residential in nature and does not comply with the Subject Property's current land use designation and zoning designation. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby denies the preliminary plat and preliminary site plan for Ebony Woods. . The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Look, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Jeffrey Councilmember Look Councilmember Dehen Councilmember Elvig Councilmember Olson Councilmember Strommen and the following voted against the same: None
