Moti on by Chair Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Brauer, to table this item until the November <br />2007 Planning Commission meeting to allow the applicant to work <br />t the applicant, Planning <br />abatement, and to consider the need for a work session to happen <br />Commission and City Council. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Brauer, Cleveland, Hunt, Trites <br />Rolle, and Van Scoy. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Levine. <br />Chairperson Nixt stated he would like to continue the public hearing <br />until the November 2007 <br />Planning Commission meeting. Commissioner Brauer was the second to the motion to close the <br />public hearing and he agreed for the continuance. <br />Case #2: Request for a Home Occupation Permit; Case of Mary Toso <br />Chairperson Nixt closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at 8:31 p.m. in <br />order to call the public hearing to order. <br />Public Hearing <br />Chairperson Nixt called the public hearing to order at 8:34 P.M. <br />Presentation . <br />Associate Planner Geisler stated that the City received a pplication from Mary Toso for a home <br />h occupation permit to operate .abed and breakfast in her home located at 7822142 Avenue NW. <br />The second floor of the Toso home has two bedrooms and sitt <br />Ho a with the kitchen and <br />guests of the bed and breakfast. The owners suite is on the <br />inin areas, which would be open to guests. The business could ecdconmm e d ana b e a s t <br />d g <br />four guests at one time. No outside employees would be involy <br />operations. <br />cit Code restricts home occupations to 20% of the gross floor ar the o ° about T i9 °o of the, <br />ty t 800 square <br />about 4,100 square feet in size. The upper floor is about <br />gr oss floor area.
