C•9 Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #07- 11 -XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO NORTHWEST ASPHALT FOR PROJECT #05 -27, WELCOME'S ROAD STREET GRADING AND PAVING IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, on June 13, 2006, City Council adopted Resolution #06 -06 -180 approving the plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Improvement Project 405 -27, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and - WHEREAS, Public Works Director /Principal Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommend l payment to Northwest Asphalt Inc. iii_ the amount of $141,529.67. WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommend 2 nd payment to Northwest Asphalt Inc. in the amount of $12,902.52. WHEREAS, Public Works Director /Principal Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommend 3` payment to Northwest Asphalt Inc. in the amount of $53,500.75. WHEREAS, Public Works Director /Principal Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommend 4"' and final payment to Northwest Asphalt Inc. in the amount. of $11,069.38. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial.payment to Northwest Asphalt Inc. for Improvement Project 05 -27 Welcome's Road in the amount of $11,069.38. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of November 27, 2007. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
