<br />Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-10-293 <br /> <br />CONSIDER RESOLUTION APPOINTING BOARD AND COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as of January 1,2008 there will be one vacant seat on the Park and <br />Recreation Commission and one vacant seat on the Environmental Policy Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the vacancies have been advertised in the Ramsey Resident, the Anoka <br />County Union-Shopper, on the City's web site and QCTV; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the interview panel made the following recommendations for appointments: <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Commission--Mr. Randy Backus (2008-2011) <br /> <br />Environmental Policy Board--Mr. Thomas Stodola (2008-2011) <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to make the following appointments: <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Commission <br />. Mr. Randy Backus (2008-2011) <br /> <br />Environmental Policy Board <br />. Mr. Thomas Stodola (2008-2011) <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Dehen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Loook <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br />
