<br />ORDINANCE #07-24 <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 3 <br />WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE MUNICIPAL <br />OPERATIONS AND ADMINISTRATION <br />CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAM- <br />SEY, MINNESOTA. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC- <br />TIONS 3.40.02, SUBD. 1, NUMBER 7 <br />(LAWFUL GAMBLING FUND) OF CITY <br />CODE <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br />SECTION 1 AUTHORITY <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant <br />to and under the authority of the City <br />Charter of the City of Ramsey. <br />SECTION 2 SUMMARY <br />The following official summary of <br />Ordinance #07-24 has been approved by <br />the City Council of the City of Ramsey as <br />clearly informing the public of the intent <br />and effect of the Ordinance. <br />This Ordinance #07:24 amends lan- <br />guage regarding the use of Charitable <br />Gambling Funds to allow expenditures <br />for community programs arid services <br />and updates the process to reflect cur- <br />rent and past practice. <br />SECTION 3 EFFECTIVE DATE <br />The effective date of this ordinance is <br />thirty (30) days after its passage and <br />publication, subject to City Charter Sec- <br />tion 5.07. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />the 27th day of November, 2007. <br />Thomas G.
