C- ~ ~t <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for. its adoption: <br />• RESOLUTION #07-12-XXX <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING. FINAL PAYMENT TO HYDROCON INC. FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #06-22 RAMSEY TOWN CENTER, PHASE 2, SEGEMENT 2, <br />UTILITY AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey entered into an agreement to construct certain streets in <br />Ramsey Town Center including Civic Center Drive from Sapphire Street to Rhinestone Street and <br />Rhinestone Street from Sunwood Drive to Civic Center Drive, also known as City Phase II, Segment <br />II ;and <br />WHEREAS, the City has received a plat application for development adjacent to Rhinestone <br />Street which will necessitate constriction of these certain improvements; and <br />.WHEREAS, on June 12, 2007, City Council adopted Resolution #07-06-143 approving. the <br />plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Improvement Project #06-22, bids <br />were received, opened and tabulated. according to law; and <br />- WHEREAS, on July 24t", 2007 the Ramsey City Council adopted resolution 07-07-176 <br />awarding Project 06-22 Ramsey Town Center to Hydrocon. <br />• WHEREAS Public Works <br />Director/Pnncipal City Engieneer Brian Olson inspected the <br />completed work and recommends partial payment No 1 to Hydrocon in the amount of $77,584.60. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the <br />completed work and recommends partial payment No 2 to Hydrocon in the amount of $160,321.33. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the <br />completed work and recommends partial payment No 3 to Hydrocon in the amount of $47,549.35. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected t11e <br />completed work and recommends final payment No 4 to Hydrocon in the amount of $21,773.89. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment No 4 to Hydrocon for Improvement <br />Project #06-22 in the amount of $21,773.89. <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />• Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br />RESOLUTION #07-10-282 <br />Page 1 of 2 -111- <br />
