stated that Minneapolis and Hennepin County are having a problem with the 35W bridge <br />collapse because they are capped for all the injured parties at $1,200,000. He suggested that the <br />City could bump up our limits. from $400,000 to $1,000,000. <br />City Attorney Goodrich noted that this could be done, but it would end up being a budget issue. <br />Councilmember Dehen stated that, if there is time to make a decision, he would like to know <br />what the premium would be if the City bumped up its coverage amounts. He stated that he <br />would like to see a scale of premium rates for different limits. <br />Assistant City Administrator Nelson stated that there is time and she will get information from <br />the City's insurance agent and add this item to the December 11, 2007 City Council agenda. <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Look, to table discussion of the <br />LMC-IT Waiver Form- Considering Not Waiving the Statutory Tort Limits until the December <br />11, 2007, meeting to allow time to get premium rates for the possibility of increasing the City's <br />limits. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Look, Dehen, Elvig, <br />Olson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br />Case #10: Adoption of Ordinance to Convey Land to Coty Real Property Holdings, <br />LLC <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that this case was introduced at the last City Council meeting. <br />Motion by Councilmember Strommen, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to Adopt Ordinance <br />#07-26 authorizing the sale of certain City owned property located in the City of Ramsey. <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br />Mayor Gamec: aye <br />Councilmember Dehen: aye <br />Councilmember Elvig: aye <br />Councilmember Jeffrey: aye <br />Councilmember Look: aye <br />Councilmember Olson: aye <br />Councilmember Strommen: aye <br />Motion carried. <br />City Council /November 27, 2007 <br />Page 16 of 18 <br />
