CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Monday, December 3, <br />2007, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Also Present: City Administrator Kurt Ulrich <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Assistant Community Development Dir/HRA Executive Dir. Goodrich <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 7:10 p.m. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />1) Crestview Senior Housing <br />Shirley Barnes of Crestview stated that she wished she was here to announce that they would be <br />breaking ground soon, however due to market changes, they are no longer certain what the <br />correct product is for the Ramsey Town Center (RTC). She stated that they plan to take the next <br />3 months to evaluate the situation and see what type of project will be best for the RTC. She <br />stated that she wanted to be clear that they still believe in the dream of the RTC and are not <br />walking away, but need time to re-evaluate the situation. <br />City Council Work Session /December 3, 2007 <br />Page 1 of 9 <br />
