C-lo • • • Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #07-12-XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO KNIFE RIVER CORPORATION FOR DIVISION B OF THE 2007 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM WHEREAS, on Apri124, 2007 the Ramsey City Council adopted-a resolution accepting plans and specifications and authorizing the solicitation of bids; and WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Divisions B bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and WHEREAS, on June 12th, 2007 the Ramsey City Council adopted resolution #07-06-141 awarding Division B to Knife River_Coiporation. WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski inspected the completed work and reconunends partial payment No 1 to Knife River Corporation in the amount of $262,437.50. WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment No 2 final to Knife River Corporation in the amount of $79,136.22. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Knife River Corporation for Div. B of the Street Improvement Project in the amount of $79,136.22. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release-form for this-payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of December 11, 2007. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
