c- is <br />• Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #07-12-XXX <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 3RD PARTIAL PAYMENT TO RICE LAKE <br />CONSTRUCTION GROUP FOR PROJECT 07-34 WELLHOUSE NO 4 <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City .Council authorized the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for the above referenced work; and <br />WHEREAS, on May 22, 2007 the Ramsey City Council adopted a resolution accepting <br />plans and specifications and authorizing the solicitation of bids; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Wellhouse No 4, bids were <br />.received, opened and tabulated according to law on June 26, 2007; and <br />WHEREAS, Civil Engineer II, Leonard Linton has inspected the completed work and <br />recomrriends partial payment to Rice Lake Construction Group in the amount of $54,524.30. <br />WHEREAS, Civil Engineer II, Leonard Linton has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment to Rice Lake Construction Group in the amount of $34,151.55. <br />• WHEREAS, Civil Engineer II Leonard Linton. has ins ected the com feted work and <br />p p <br />recommonds partial payment to Rice Lake Construction Group in the amount of $57,784.70. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Rice Lake Construction Group <br />for Improvement Project 07-34 Wellhouse No 4 in the amount of $57,784.70. <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br />3) That the total amount of this payment is riot included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of December 1 1, 2007. <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />• and the following voted against the same: <br />RESOLUTION #07-12-XXX <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />-85- . <br />
