c- is • Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #07-12-XXX RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 3RD PARTIAL PAYMENT TO RICE LAKE CONSTRUCTION GROUP FOR PROJECT 07-34 WELLHOUSE NO 4 WHEREAS, the Ramsey City .Council authorized the preparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, on May 22, 2007 the Ramsey City Council adopted a resolution accepting plans and specifications and authorizing the solicitation of bids; and WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Wellhouse No 4, bids were .received, opened and tabulated according to law on June 26, 2007; and WHEREAS, Civil Engineer II, Leonard Linton has inspected the completed work and recomrriends partial payment to Rice Lake Construction Group in the amount of $54,524.30. WHEREAS, Civil Engineer II, Leonard Linton has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Rice Lake Construction Group in the amount of $34,151.55. • WHEREAS, Civil Engineer II Leonard Linton. has ins ected the com feted work and p p recommonds partial payment to Rice Lake Construction Group in the amount of $57,784.70. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Rice Lake Construction Group for Improvement Project 07-34 Wellhouse No 4 in the amount of $57,784.70. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is riot included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of December 1 1, 2007. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
