ORDINANCE #92- CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AMENDME]qT:~O CHAPTER 2 OF THE RAMSEY COUNCIL, BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE MINNESOT~A : The City of Ra~nsey ordains: SECTION Ii ~ SUMMARY CITY CODE KNOWN AS CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, Ciecounci 2.01.01 Meetings. Sub~. 1. Regular Meetings. Regular meetings of the City Council; shall bc held on ttle[se¢Ond and fourth Tuesdays of each calendar month at 7:30 P.M. Any regular meetings falling up,On a legal holiday shall be held on the next following business day at the same time and place. All meetings shall be held at the Ramsey Municipal Center, the Ramsey Elementary School Or such other public location as designated by the City Council. Subd. 2. Special Meetings. Special meetings of the council may be called by thc mayor ot anyr two members of the council by written notice filed with the City Clerk. Each council member shall receive at least 24 hour notice of such meeting. If that council member cannot be four~l a) ,Written notice of such meeting shall be left at the council member's home. Special meetifl~s rn~y be held without prior written notice or when all council members are present at the meeting dr cofqsent thereto in writing. Such consent shall be filed with the City Clerk prior to the beginning 0'~f th~, meeting. AMENDMENT Chapter 2 of the citqy Code is amended to read as follows: The followingioffi¢ial summary of Ordinance #92-. has been approved by the City Council of the City of R~.rfiseyias clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance: It is the intent and effect of Ordinance #92- to update the Chapter m accordance w~th the City Charter and M~ne~ota Statutes regarding Council, Council Boards and Council Commissions and the manner in ~hich these Boards and Commissions conduct business activities including the order of business, :$rgahization of meetings, Commission and Board composition, duties and responsibilitie~ andlrules and procedures. A printed coP~ of Ordinance #92- is available for inspection by any person at the Ramsey Municipal C°n~r. This OrdinanC¢~ becomes effective upon its passage and thirty (30) days after publication according to law.
