The Commission or <br />Board shall a~ot~i Isuch rules and procedures not inconsistent with these provisions as may be <br />necessary for t~e Pioper execution and conduct of business. <br /> <br />2.04 iTh~ Board of Building Appeals <br /> <br />2.0 4.01 iCr~tion, The Ramsey Building Code Board of Appeals is created pursuant to <br />§204 of the ~bitd~ng Code of the City of Ramsey adopted by §8.01 of the City Code, and is <br />hereinafter ref~recl[to as the "Board". <br /> <br />2.04.02 [$u~d. 1. Meetings. <br /> ¢. ' ~ Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting of the Board shall be held each year <br /> on the second Monday in January. <br /> <br /> b. ~ Regular Meeting. Regular meetings of the Board shall be held on notice <br /> ( from the secretary within ten working days after an appeal is filed with the <br /> i Board. If additional time is required, an extension to the ten working days <br /> ~ may be granted with approval of the chairperson. <br /> <br />2.04.03 ~P'~llcation and appeals. <br /> ~Subid. 1. Application. <br /> <br />Form. Each application and appeal shall be in writing and shall contain such <br />information as hereinafter prescribed. <br /> <br />Application for Permission to Use Alternate Materials and <br />Methods of Construction. An application for permission to use alternate <br />materials or methods of construction shall first be submitted to the Building <br />Official for approval or denial and shall include: <br /> <br />r2. <br /> <br />r3. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />The name and address of the applicant, and if the applicant is acting as <br />agent for another, the name and address of the person, firm, or <br />corporation for whom the applicant is agent. <br /> <br />A description of the type of building or structure and the work to be <br />performed for which permission to use alternate materials or methods is <br />requested. <br /> <br />A description of the use and occupancy of the building or structure. <br /> <br />A citation to the controlling section or sections of the Uniform Building <br />Code which specify the materials or methods for which alternates are <br />requested. <br /> <br />A description of the alternate materials or methods of construction <br />proposed to be used. <br /> <br />If a test is required by the Building Official pursuant to Sections 106 and <br />107 of the Building Code, a report from an approved agency which has <br />tested the proposed alternate materials or methods of construction.
