CITY COUNCIL <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a special meeting on Thursday, June 7, 1990 at the <br />RamSely Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Richard Cich (dismissed at 7:30 p.m.) <br />Councilmember Stephen F. DeLuca <br />Councilmember Alan Pearson <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hardey <br />Finance Officer Sandra Ashley <br />Public Works Supervisor Merle Mevissen <br />Personnel Coordinator Kay McAloney <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the special City Council meeting to order at 6:15 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />The consensus was to approve the agenda as submitted. <br /> <br /> Us NEss <br />Case ~#1: Interview Finalists For City Engineer Position: <br /> <br />Those .Present interviewed Steven Jankowski, a finalist for the position of City En~neer. <br /> <br />FolloWing the interview with Steven Jankowski, Mr. Hartley indicated that excellent <br />references ~vere also obtained on the other top finalist for the City Engineer position, Rick'5, <br />MinetOr. :However, the City of Mounds View is increasing Mr. Minetor's salary to <br />$50,000% which places that candidate outside the range of what Ramsey can afford for an <br />engineer. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cich dismissed himself from the meeting at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />City Count i 1 /June 7, 1990 <br /> Page I of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
