<br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, November 20, <br />2007, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br /> <br />Member Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Kurt Ulrich <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Civil Engineer II Leonard Linton <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 7:53 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) 167th Avenue Extension <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that Assistant City Engineer Tim Himmer had compiled a packet of <br />information on the possible 167th Avenue extension. The information included past meeting <br />minutes as well as information and questions from the residents. He noted that the Public Works <br />Committee had recommended that the first segment of this project, which is from CR# 5 to <br />Quartz Street, move forward. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec read aloud some questions that had been submitted by residents: <br /> <br />When will the residents know if the road has been removed from the comprehensive plan? <br /> <br />City Council Work Session / November 20,2007 <br />Page 1 of9 <br />
