<br />Councilmember Elvig confirmed that the residential storm water rates would be increased from <br />$7.79 per quarter to $8.58 per quarter. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to Adopt Ordinance <br />#07-222008 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec: aye <br />Councilmember Dehen: aye <br />Councilmember Elvig: aye <br />Councilmember Jeffrey: aye <br />Councilmember Look: aye <br />Councilmember Olson: aye <br />Councilmember Strommen: aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Public Hearing: Request for Easement Vacation for Terrace Hill <br />Apartments; Case of Trident Development, LLC <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7 :26 p.m. in order to <br />conduct a public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearine: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:26 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Associate Planner DaInes stated that this easement was dedicated in 2002 and now that Terrace <br />Hills has received site plan approval, there are revisions needed to the easement boundary. She <br />stated that originally, the stormwater pond was to be located on the southwest comer of the site, <br />but the new pond was sized to accommodate additional capacity from the existing pond on the <br />northern end of the property to enable the new building to be positioned as far north as possible, <br />which would also avoid impacting potential right-of-way needed for the possible realignment of <br />Highway #47. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jeffrey asked if Highway #47 IS relocated if the stormwater pond could <br />accommodate enough drainage. <br /> <br />City Council / November 27, 2007 <br />Page 5 of 18 <br />
