<br />Councilmember Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-12-328 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2007, PAYABLE 2008, MUNICIPAL TAX LEVY <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the following levies for assessed 2007, payable 2008, be levied upon the taxable <br />property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the following <br />purposes: <br /> <br />GENERAL LEVY <br />Fund 101: General Fund - General Operations <br />Fiscal Disparity Transfer (as certified) <br />Collected as Property Tax - EDA Levy <br />Collected as Property Tax - General Levy <br /> <br />$ 883,064 <br />393,375 <br />6.727.274 <br /> <br />$ 8,003,713 <br /> <br />DEBT SERVICE LEVY <br />CIP Bond <br />Certificates of Indebtedness <br />Lease Revenue Bonds <br /> <br />149,696 <br />$ 409,354 <br />453.062 <br /> <br />$1,012,112 <br /> <br />DRAINAGE DISTRICT LEVY <br />Mississippi River Storm Water Sub Drainage <br />District # 1 <br /> <br />$43,348 <br /> <br />TOTAL CERTIFIED LEVIES <br /> <br />$ 9.059.173 <br /> <br />2) That this final levy does not exceed the Proposed Levy adopted September 11, 2007. <br /> <br />3) That the City will not be levying the $354,372.38 related to the $4,225,000 GO Impr <br />Bond. Per JP A Agreement with Anoka County, Anoka County is required to pay this <br />directly to City. The City will be reducing the levy amount relating to the $19,200,000 <br />Public Project Lease Revenue bond to $453,062 to reflect an internal funding transfer. <br />Whereas, the levy scheduled for 2008 pertaining to the capital equipment certificates <br />issued on 12/15/03 and 12/15/04 in the amounts of $172,200 and $77,542.50, <br />respectively, will not be levied but internally funded. <br /> <br />4) That the City Administrator/Clerk be directed to transmit a certified copy of this <br />resolution to the Anoka County Auditor's office on or before Thursday, December 28, <br />2007. <br />
