Attention
Snowmobilers!

Recreational vehicles may
only be operated north of the 16700
block in the city of Ramsey.
The city's recreational
vehicle ordinance provides reason-
able regulations for the operation of
snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles,
off-highway motorcycles and other
recreational vehicles on public and
private property within the city of
Ramsey.
Loading and unloading of
snowmobiles and ATV's is available
in the parl(ing lots of Central and
Elmcrest Parks to access the designat-
ed use area north of the 16700 block.
City ordinance also restricts
the operation of recreational vehicles
off of private property between
November 1 and March 31, if there
is not a minimum of six (6) inches of
snow cover on the ground.
A map of the designated use
area and the Recreational Vehicle Or-
dinance are available on our website
at www.ci.ramsey.mn.us/departments/
police/recvehfaq.asp or by contact-
ing the Ramsey Police Department at
763-427-6812.

Snowplowing
Policies

F or information regarding
snowplowing policies and FAQ's,
please refer to the City's website at
www.ci.ramsey.mn.us/departments/
public_works. You may also call the
Public Works Department directly at
763-427-8254 or the snowplow infor-
mation line at 763-433-9852.

Public Notice

Attention
Ramsey
Residents

Please help us l(eep
snow away from fire
hydrants. Snow piled or
shoveled close to hydrants
restricts operation during
a fire emergency.
After a snowfall the Public
Works Department is responsible
for clearing snow from city streets.
Depending on the amount and type
of snow this could take several
days. We are requesting your help in
keeping our fire hydrants accessible.
Please clear a four-foot circle around
the hydrant near your home to assure
easy access for our Fire Department.
If you have any questions or
comments, please call John Nelson,
Ramsey Fire Department at 763-427-
8254. Thank you for your efforts!

~

Free Car Seat
INSPECTIONS for
Anoka County
Residents

Safe Kids Anoka County
offers several car seat clinics through-
out the year for Anoka County resi-
dents to have their car seats inspected
by trained technicians.
