<br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec: <br />Councilmember Dehen: <br />Councilmember Elvig: <br />Councilmember Jeffrey: <br />Councilmember Look: <br />Councilmember Olson: <br />Councilmember Strommen: <br /> <br />aye <br />aye <br />aye <br />aye <br />aye <br />absent <br />aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Case #9: <br /> <br />Authorize Resolution Requesting the Anoka County Regional Rail Authority <br />and Northstar Corridor Development Authority Approve the Inclusion of the <br />Ramsey Commuter Rail Station site as Part of the Northstar Corridor <br />Commuter Rail Service-Phase One <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted that the Council had discussed this item at its earlier work session. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig stated that he sees this as an opportunity for the City and is excited about <br />moving forward in pursuit of a rail station. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to adopt Resolution #08- <br />01-020 Requesting the Anoka County Regional Rail Authority and Northstar Corridor <br />Development Authority approve the inclusion of the Ramsey commuter rail station site as part of <br />the Northstar Corridor Commuter Rail service phase one, AND, approve proposal from the <br />Tinklenberg Group for work to be performed in support of lobbying and planning for a Ramsey <br />Station on the Northstar Commuter Rail Line. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Strommen stated that she is glad the City is ramping up its <br />efforts to move forward with a rail station because this is something that the community has <br />looked forward to for a long time. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Jeffrey, Dehen, Look, and <br />Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Olson. <br /> <br />Case #10: <br /> <br />Consider Confirmation of Directions Given in Closed Sessions <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that earlier at a closed Special City Council meeting, the Council <br />agreed to enter into a Stipulation of Final Settlement with K.I.H. Erecting Co. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Strommen, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to enter into a <br />Stipulation of Final Settlement with K.I.H.
