MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT Christmas Party Mayor Gamec reminded everyone that the Christmas Party will be held Friday, January 11,2008 at Wells Catering at 5:00 p.m. Legislative Reception Mayor Gamec noted that the legislative reception will be held Thursday, January 10, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Majestic Oaks. Joint Planning Commission Meeting Mayor Gamec stated that the joint meeting with the Planning Commission is scheduled for Tuesday, January 29, 2008. Habitat for Humanity Mayor Gamec stated that there is a Habitat for Humanity dedication on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 7252 149th Street. Councilmember Jeffrey stated that, as the Chair of the HRA, he has been asked to sign a letter supporting the continued growth of Habitat for Humanity projects in the City. He stated that he did not want to sign this unless the Council agreed that this is a good goal. Assistant Community Development Director Frolik stated that Habitat for Humanity requires a letter from the City as part of their application to the County for funding and this is due January 15,2008. She stated that the City sent the same letter last year. There was a Consensus of the Council to send a letter in support of Habitat for Humanity building more units in the City. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Look, to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
