Capital Improvement Program
City of Ramsey, Minnesota
2008 thru 2012
Project 14 06 -PARK -009
Project Name Fishing Pier at Riverdale Park
Description
Fishing Pier at Riverdale Park.
Justification
Contact
Department Park Improvements
Type Improvement
Useful Life 20 Years
Category Park Improvement
Priority n/a
Total Project Cost $28,000
A part of the Riverdale Park system is Anoka County's eastern portion of Mississippi West Park. This park property is between the Rivenwick
subdivision and the river.
Shore fishing locations within Ramsey is currently limited to the Wayside Rest stop; however, the current there is swift, and often quite shallow.
The proposed pier would be in immediate vicinity to existing residents and the trail system. This project would be an ideal candidate for a
cooperative venture between the city and county, and may be augmented or completely funded with state grant monies.
Expenditures 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 Total
Improvements Other than Build 28,000 28,000
Rev1 l 01/07
Total 28,000
28,000
Funding Sources 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 Total
Grants and Aids 14,000 14,000
Lawful Gambling Fund 14,000 14,000
Total 28,000 28,000
