Capital Improvement Program <br />City of Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Project # 04 -PARK -010 <br />Project Name Roller Sports Facility for Alpine Park <br />Description <br />2008 thru 2012 <br />A skate board area has been considered for several locations. Alpine Park emerged as the preferred location in 2007. <br />Justification <br />A request for a skateboard area has been made for several years. Several locations were evaluated. The park & recreation . commission discussed <br />alternatives monthly in 2007. A review of city demographics indicated Alpine Park was nearest to the Largest concentration of potential users. <br />Some equipment was purchased for use at the 2007 Happy Days celebration. This project contemplates placing a concrete slab in the western end <br />of Alpine Park.
