actions when there is a public benefit and is in the_normal course of its municipal <br />affairs. <br />K. Vegetation Mana ement. No removal, cutting, pruning, trimming or mowing of <br />any trees or other vegetation, living or dead, and no introduction of non-native <br />species is allowed except as follows: <br />i. In conjunction. with horticultural activities, or habitat management as <br />specifically permitted in Section 3 of this CE & R. <br />ii. As reasonably required to construct and maintain permitted structures, <br />roads and. other improvements and provided that vegetation shall be <br />.restored following any construction to a condition consistent with the <br />Conservation Values of this CE & R. <br />iii. As reasonably required to .prevent or .control insects, noxious weeds, <br />invasive vegetation, disease, fire, personal injury or property damage. <br />L. Water.. No alteration or manipulation of natural watercourses, lakes, shorelines, <br />wetlands or other surface or subsurface. bodies of water is allowed except to <br />restore or enhance wildlife habitat or native biological corrununities or to improve <br />or enhance the function and quality of existing wetlands as approved by the City. <br />No activities on or uses of the Easement Areas that cause erosion or are <br />detrimental to water quality or purity shall be conducted or permitted to be <br />conducted within the Easement Areas. <br />M. Dumping and Composting. No trash, non-compostable garbage, hazardous or <br />toxic substances or unsightly material may be dumped or accumulated on the <br />Easement Areas. However, burning for the purpose of habitat and noxious weed <br />control; and. composting may be pernitted upon city approval within the CE & R. <br />N. Vehicles. ' No Snowmobiles, dune buggies, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles or <br />other types of motorized recreational vehicles inay be operated on the Easement <br />Areas. Limited offroad use of motorized vehicles is allowed in conjunction with <br />habitat restoration or enhancement as permitted in Section 3 of this CE & R. This <br />paragraph is not intended to otherwise limit the use of motorized vehicles <br />permitted under this CE & R for maintenance, patrol and emergency operations. <br />SECTION 3 <br />Reservations., The Owner reserves the following rights: <br />A. Right to Convey. The Owner may sell, give, lease, bequeath, devise, mortgage or <br />otherwise encumber or convey the Easement Areas subject to the following: <br />4 <br />_gg_ <br />
