Miiuzesota State Building Code approved structure A simi is considered temporary if it is not intended to remain on the property permanently and has not received a permanent sign ~ernit and/or is not intended to be constructed per the State Building Code. a Duration• Temporary signs shall be permitted for up to six weeks per year per parcel or per business on multi-tenant business parcels. The six-week limit. may be extended up to four weeks if there have been no siml violations in the past year by the entity who erects the sign. b Location• Temporary si~is must be located frilly on private property with the permission of the property owner The city -will remove any sins in the public right-of--way or erected without permission from the property owner. c Number All properties are limited to t`~-o temporary signs per parcel In locations where there are multiple businesses on one parcel. (a multi-tenant facility,) three sans are permitted. d Size• Temporary sins shall be limited to 50 square feet in size. d Fee• All tempoi•a•y si~is are exen~t from pennittui~ and fees. The provisions of t11e ordinance apply to all tem~~orary sins and appropriate penalties for violations will be assessed, as outlined in Section 9.12.21. .
