Absent: Councilmember Olson. <br />The public hearing was closed at 7:36 p.m. <br />Council Business <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:36 p.m. <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to introduce an <br />ordinance to change the street name of 167t" Chase to 167t" Court within the plat of Brookfield <br />2°d Addition. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Strommen, Dehen, Elvig, <br />and Look. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Olson. <br />Case #3: 2008 Council Organization <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated that the Public Works Committee has recently appointed <br />Councilmember Dehen to serve as Vice-Chair, which should be included in the organizational <br />chart. <br />Councilmember Jeffrey stated that Councilmember Olson was appointed as Vice Chair of the <br />Personnel Committee and should also be included. <br />Mayor Gamec noted that the Fire Board was not included on this chart and should be. He stated <br />that both he and Councilmember Jeffrey serve on this committee. <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to adopt Resolution #08-01-014 <br />for the 2008 Council organization, with the addition of the Vice-Chair positions and the Fire <br />Board. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Dehen, Elvig, Look, and <br />Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Olson. <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adopt Resolution #08- <br />01-015 designating financial institutions as official depositories of City funds for 2008. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Elvig, Dehen, Look, and <br />Strommen. Voting No: None.
