Case gT:~ Pursuance of External Funding for Educational Programs and <br /> I, Recreational Facility Development <br /> <br />Motion byi'COutlcilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to recommend to City <br />Council tolr'aUthorize Staff to pursue L.C.M.R. funding. <br />Motion caffied. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Beyer, Hardin and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br />Case #9: i Consent Agenda <br /> <br />City Admig~tralor Schroeder stated that City Staff would like to continue to place noncontroversial <br />items on tla¢ c6nsent part of the Council agenda. Staff would also like to utilize the Consent <br />Agenda w~!$neqer possible; however, if Council deems an issue requires further discussion, they <br />may remo~e;thl~ item and place it on the regular agenda. <br /> <br />The Budg¢t Committee agreed with Mr. Schroeder's suggestions. <br /> <br />Case #8: <br /> <br />General Discussion of D.A.R.E. Officer Training Reimbursement <br />Opportunity <br /> <br />Finance Offlcer;L[Helling stated she would like this case placed on a subsequent agenda as there is <br />not suffici~lt information available at this time. <br />COMMITTEE INPUT <br /> <br />1.) Lel~ter 'from the City of Dayton regarding the Mississippi River Bridge <br /> CrOssing <br /> <br />City Admi[ti~strator Schroeder distributed a letter received from the City of Dayton requesting a <br />donation of $1,000 to help plan and identify an alignment for a major thoroughfare through the <br />City of Da~tt~n. ~. Mr. Schroeder asked for approval to send a response to Dayton offering his and <br />City Engineer jankowski's time to assist with the research as opposed to sending funding. <br />Motion by C°unCilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to recommend City <br />Council dh/eat S~aff to offer the services of the City Adrmmstrator and the City Engineer. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Hardin, Peterson and Beyer. Voting No: None. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Coun¢ilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to adjourn the meeting. <br />Motion car~¢d.
