City AdminiStr0tor Schroeder stated that the City had been offered the chance to purchase the <br />M.U.C.K. blhilding to be used for a Public Works facility. <br />Public w°3rks Maintenance Worker Belsaas presented a floor plan of the building with a list of <br />improvemants he felt had to be made in order for it to be compatible for Public Works uses. <br /> <br />Discussioa ensued regarding the possible environmental issues. Mr. Schroeder informed the <br />Committe~ that a ground water test had been done. Councilmember Zimmerman stated the <br />enwronm~r~tal t~actor scares me . Mayor Gflbertson felt the building was really a good deal and <br />stated, in Ifi~opixlion, there is not nearly the amount of work that has to be done as was presented <br />by Mr. Beljsaas. ' Councilmember Beyer felt that the Public Works Department should have a new <br />facility bui!t for them. Councilmember Hardin felt that the Public Works Department really wasn't <br />certain wh~t/they were looking for in a facility and stated that the Committee would have to know <br />what the sGeCifics are before they could allocate dollars for it. The Committee directed Staff to <br />come up with sPecifics with regard to the Public Works facility. <br /> <br />3) Pe~$°nal Services <br /> <br />Personnel Coordinator McAloney distributed copies showing actual expenditures on a full time <br />equivalent basis for each position and the <br /> 1993 personal services total. <br /> <br />City Admirfistrat-Or Schroeder stated that the next process will be to match expenses to revenues. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by C°uncilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Peterson, Hardin and Beyer.
