The Bu~.~t ~.ommittee directed that the fee requested by the WMO not be paid until Mr. <br />Jankow~ h~ had an opportunity to get some of the questions answered. <br />Case ~.~ ; City of Ramsey's 1993 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges <br /> <br />FinanceIOff~er Helling stated the purpose of this case is to review the rates, fees and <br />charges.? The~ can be established by resolution of the Council as deemed necessary. <br />Council~ml0er Hardin inquired if the City is looking for revenue sources, why are the <br />rates set~rS~ lo~v~ on some items? <br />City Ad~_nis~ator Schroeder stated there are some maximums. <br /> <br />Council~ml~er Hardin stated he wanted to review this schedule line by line because some <br />of the f~ should be increased. <br />Council~m~r Beyer left the meeting for a telephone call. <br /> <br />Mrs. H~l!,'ngJ~°ffered to highlight the fees that could not be increased and Council could <br />decide ~½at ~he other's should be. <br /> <br />Motion!By ~ouncilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to <br />recomrr~id ~_hat City Council adopt the Schedule of Proposed 1993 Rates, Fees and <br />Charge~x~rit~an effective date of January 1, 1993 and that any changes to the Schedule <br />followidg~c~' loser review may be done by resolution. <br />Motion ~. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Hardin and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br />Absent: :~otaicilmember Beyer. <br /> <br />Case #li Request from the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities <br /> ~ :for Funding in 1993 <br /> <br />Conseml a~ o~the Committee was to not recommend authorization of the budget allocation <br />for 199~. fOr,~funding for the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities but to reconsider <br />this ite~ ~r the 1994 budget year. <br />Council~'~m~r Beyer is absent. <br />Case ~:· League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust Dividend Payment <br />Council~m~er Beyer returned. <br />Finance!0ffi~r Helling stated there is not action needed on this case, it is for information <br />only. ~ D~ember 16, 1992, the City received a check from the League for $14,678 <br />($13,77DiPr~perty/Casualty 1992 Dividend and $908 1992 Profit-sharing Excess <br />Liabili~.~ Tl~'e payment has been credited to the City's Self-funding Insurance Fund. <br />Case #~ i Administrative Services Capital Request <br />C~ty A~tmstrator Schroeder stated he is asking for $3,000 out of the Administrative <br />Service$ 8up~.lies budget to construct work stations in the Administrative Services area. <br />This wo~ld g~ve that Department six work stations. The other request is for 13 secretarial <br />chairs aS ¢pp~sed to the 10 budgeted for.
