BOARD iBU$1NESS <br />Case gl:' Appoint Chair and Vice-Chair for 1992 <br />Motion by~Boagfi Member Deemer and seconded by Board Member Terry to appoint Mr. Terry <br />Hendrikse~l ~as '~Chairperson and Mr. Charles LaDue as Vice-Chairperson for the Board of <br />Adjustmenit for 1992. <br /> <br />Motion carried. ~ Voting Yes: Chairperson Hendriksen, Board Members Deemer, Terry, Bawden, <br />Holland anti LaI)ue. Voting No: None. Absent: Board Member Thorud. <br /> <br />Case g2::, Request for a Variance to Construct an Accessory Structure Nearer <br /> ~ the Front Property Line than the Principal Structure; Case of Dennis <br /> Harper <br /> <br />Chairperso ~n Hetldriksen asked Mr. Harper to present information regarding the placement of his <br />proposed a¢~ssory structure. <br /> <br />Mr. DenniSrHarper stated he had thoroughly investigated the placement of this proposed garage, <br />but due to ~a location of the septic and the well, the front yard is the only solution. <br /> <br />The Board ~of Adjustment proceeded to review the finding of facts pertaining to Mr. Harper's <br />request. <br /> <br />Consensus Of the Board was that #'s 1 through 11 should remain as is. <br /> <br />Motion by lto?rdMember Terry and seconded by Board Member Deemer to amend #12 to indicate <br />that the proposed variance will not impair an adequate supply of light and air to adjacent property. <br /> <br />Motion carfi, od. Voting Yes: Chairperson Hendriksen, Board Members Terry, Deemer, Bawden, <br />and LaDue.. Voting No: None. Abstained: Board Member Holland. Absent: Board Member <br />Thorud. <br /> <br />Motion by B~.oardMember Bawden and seconded by Board Member Terry to amend #13 to indicate <br />that the proposed -variance will not unreasonably increase the congestion in the public street. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Hendriksen, Board Members Bawden, Terry, Deemer <br />and LaDue. :: Voting No: None. Abstained: Board Member Holland. Absent: Board Member <br />Thorud. <br /> <br />Motion by BOard Member Deemer and seconded by Board Member Bawden to amend #14 to <br />indicate that~e g~Oposed variance will not adversely impact the degree of public health, safety and <br />general welfare provided for in the Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />Motion carri~e~l. Voting Yes: Chairperson Hendriksen, Board Members Deemer, Bawden, LaDue <br />and Terry. Voting No: None. Abstained: Board Member Holland.
