C-14 <br />• Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #08 -02 -XXX <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #08-04 (SEALCOAT AND CRACKFILL OF STREETS IN <br />MSA STREETS — VARIOLITE ST & SUNWOOD DRIVE) <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted February 12, <br />2008, a feasibility study for the 2008 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve <br />Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #08-04 (Sealcoat and Crackfill <br />of the streets in MSA Streets — Variolite St & Sunwood Drive) including the streets more <br />specifically described below: and, <br />Sunwood Dr. from CR 116 to CR 56 <br />Sunwood Dr. from CR 57 to Bridge 500 feet e/o 147th Lane <br />Variolite St from Alpine Dr. to 173rd Ave <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost effective, and feasible. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />• 1 That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of crackfilling and <br />sealcoating of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting <br />property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of <br />$180,614. <br />2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 11th day of <br />March, 2008 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center located at 7550 <br />Sunwood Drive NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and <br />published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof. <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />• <br />RESOLUTION #08-02-x:XX <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />-97- <br />
