• <br />• <br />C0.15 <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #08 -02 -XXX <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #08-05 (BITUMINOUS OVERLAY OF STREETS IN <br />GOLDEN EAGLE ESTATES & TROTT BROOK RIDGE) <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted February 12, <br />2008, a feasibility study for the 2008 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve <br />Jankowski, City Engineer, with.reference <br />to Improvement <br />Project #08-05 (Bituminous Overlay <br />of the streets in Golden Eagle Estates <br />& Trott Brook <br />Ridge) including the streets more <br />specifically described below: and, <br />165th Ave. from Alpaca St. <br />to <br />Cul de Sac <br />168th Ave. from Yolite St. <br />to <br />Variolite St. <br />168th Lane from Yolite St. <br />to <br />Bison St. <br />169th Ave. from Zeolite St. <br />to <br />Variolite St. <br />170th Ave. from Zeolite St. <br />to <br />Cul de Sac <br />171st Ave. from Zeolite St. <br />to <br />Variolite St. <br />171 st Ave. from Zeolite St. <br />to <br />Bison St. <br />172nd Lane from Zeolite St. <br />to <br />Willemite St. <br />Alpaca St. from 165th Ave <br />to <br />166th Ave. <br />Bison St. from 168th Lane <br />to <br />Cul de Sac <br />Willemite St. from 170th Ave. <br />to <br />Cul de Sac <br />Willemite St. from 169th Lane <br />to <br />170th Ave. <br />Willemite St. from 171stAve. <br />to <br />172nd Lane <br />Yolite St. from 168th Ave. <br />to <br />169th Ave. <br />Zeolite St. from 169th Ave. <br />to <br />173rd Ave. <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost effective, and feasible. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of overlay of such streets <br />in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion <br />of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and the <br />Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of $250,614. <br />2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 11th day of <br />March, 2008 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center located at 7550 <br />Sunwood Drive NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and <br />published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br />• The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />RESOLUTION #08 -02 -XXX , <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />—99- <br />
