Although it is understood that specific <br />projects have not been approved, this provides Engineering and Public Works the opportunity to <br />outline the 2008 projects referenced in the CEP and develop a schedule for implementation. <br />STREET PROJECTS <br />1. Phase 1 of 167th Avenue extension (Nowthen Blvd. to Marble St.) <br />• Preliminary design <br />• Neighborhood meeting <br />• Undertake appraisals and necessary right-of-way acquisition <br />• Final design and specifications <br />• Construction <br />2. McKinley Street extension (Ramsey Blvd. to Sunfish Lake Blvd.) <br />• Preliminary design <br />• Undertake appraisals and necessary right-of-way acquisition <br />• Final design and specifications <br />• Construction <br />3. South Highway 10 Frontage Road (Riverdale Dr. & Rivlyn Ave.) <br />• Explore preliminary design options <br />• Investigate property acquisition needs <br />* Tliis item could be evaluated witli the proposed TH 10 interchange design discussions <br />UTILITY PROJECTS <br />1. RTC storm sewer outfall to the Mississippi River <br />• Easement acquisition from Anoka County <br />• Final design and specifications <br />• Submit permit applications to the various agencies (County, DNR, Army Corps) <br />• Construction <br />2. Water Treatment Plant <br />• Advance discussions on proposed site for river intake facility <br />• Undertake appraisals <br />• Begin acquisition for intake facility, treatment plant, and transmission line route <br />3.
