• Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #08 -02 -XXX <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF $420,000 FROM 2007 GENERAL <br />FUND BUDGET TO THE ADOPTED 2008 GENERAL FUND BUDGET FOR THE <br />AUTHORIZED PURCHASES OF A FIRE TRUCK AND WATER TANK <br />WHEREAS, included in the 2007 Adopted General Fund Budget was $360,000 and <br />$60,000 for the purchases of a fire truck and a water tank for a water truck, -respectively; and <br />WHEREAS, at year end, 2007, the City had not yet purchased, nor made any payment <br />for the purchases of; and <br />WHEREAS, $420,000 needs to be subtracted from the 2007 General Fund Budget and <br />added to the Adopted 2008 General Fund Budget to cover required expenditures in 2008; and <br />WHEREAS, the amended 2007 General Fund Budget, as presented, reflects this <br />reduction. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, that the City Council hereby directs <br />• the Finance Officer to reduce the City's 2007 General Fund Budget by $420,000 and increase its <br />Adopted 2008 General Fund Budget by $420,000 <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 12th day of February 2008. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />Mayor <br />-91 <br />
