C- I a. <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />• <br />RESOLUTION #08 -02 -XXX <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #08-02 (SEALCOAT AND CRACKFILL OF STREETS IN <br />FOX RIDGE — POTASSIUM ST & POTASSIUM COURT) <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted February 12, <br />2008, a feasibility study for the 2008 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve <br />Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #08-02 (Sealcoat and Crackfill <br />of the streets in Fox Ridge - Potassium St & Potassium Court) including the streets more <br />specifically described below: and, <br />172nd Lane from T.H. 47 to Potassium St. <br />Potassium Ct. from Potassium St to Cul de sac <br />Potassium St. from 172nd Lane to Potassium Ct. <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost effective, and feasible. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />• <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of crackfilling and <br />sealcoating of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting <br />property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of <br />$11,030. <br />2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 11 th day of <br />March, 2008 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center located at 7550 <br />Sunwood Drive NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and <br />published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, , <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof. <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />• <br />RESOLUTION #08 -02 -XXX <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />-93- <br />
