February 8, 2008

Sean Sullivan
Community Development Department
Planning Division Economic Development Coordinator
7550 Sunwood Drive NW
Ramsey, MN 55305

Re: Sunfish Commons signage plan

Dear Sean,

It was good to meet with you this past week! The landlord and business owners look
forward to partnering with the city of Ramsey on developing an essential plan to maintain
the vitality of Sunfish Commons.

The goal is to increase signage and overall visibility to the center in an effort to maintain
accessibility for customers. We greatly appreciate your awareness of the potential
obstacles the retail center face in the up and coming months once the median is installed.

In our meeting you requested a proposal covering the centers essential signage needs.
We have met with Spectrum Sign Company to discuss cost effective options. We are
confident that the plans described below are straight forward and within reason. In an
effort to be proactive we herby offer you the following additional signage needs for
Sunfish Commons.

1. Lighted Directional sign. As illustrated on Exhibit A, we are requesting a
lighted directional sign to be installed at each entrance to the retail center.
(Enclosed please find the full signage dimensions submitted by Spectrum Sign
Systems).

2. Non-lighted Directional sign. As illustrated on Exhibit A, This sign would serve
the purpose of directing traffic to remain on Hwy 10 and not turn on Sunfish
Blvd. The placement of the sign would be adjacent to the Hwy 10 with enough
distance from the Sunfish intersection to divert traffic straight ahead.

3. Non-lighted V-turn sign. As Illustrated on Exhibit A, this sign would direct
south bound hwy. 10 retail center customers to take a V-Turn at the intersection
(protected left turn signal) in order to access the center on Hwy 10.

10
