Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />CONSIDER APPROVING THE REVISED 2008 CITY HEALTH INSURANCE <br />CONTRIBUTION FOR NON -UNION EMPLOYEES <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to offer employees a contribution toward health <br />insurance premiums, and <br />WHEREAS, the revised health insurance contribution is in line with what has <br />been tentatively agreed to by LELS- Patrol and LELS - Sergeants, and <br />WHEREAS, the revised health insurance contribution can be covered by the <br />current 2008 General Fund Budget. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br />Authorize the following monthly health insurance contributions for non -union <br />employees: <br />HDHP* single $485.33 $20/80% single $456.30 $20 /100 %single $474.65 <br />HDHP* family $742.36 $20/80% family $742.36 $20 /100% family $742.36 <br />* The City's 2008 HDHP contribution includes the $4.60 monthly claim fee. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 26 day of February, 2008. <br />G:\ Administration \HumanResources\Benefits\2008 \case to appr revised health contribution for non -union 2- 26- 08.doc <br />—103- <br />
