c- Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #08- 02 -XXX RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 5" PARTIAL PAYMENT TO PARK CONSTRUCTION FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #05 -20 RAMSEY BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, on January 24, 2006, City Council adopted Resolution #06 -01 -035 approving the plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Improve ment Project #05 -20, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and WHEREAS, on April 11 2006, City Council adopted Resolution #06 -04 -118 awarding the contract to Park Construction: WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends 1 St partial payment to Park Construction in the amount of $279,512.73, WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends 2nd partial payment to Park Construction in the amount of $472,494.13. WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends 3 partial payment to Park Construction in the amount of $745,433.39. WHEREAS, Public Works Director /Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends 4 th partial payment to Park Construction in the amount of $209,516.07. WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends 5 th partial payment to Park Construction in the amount of $90,339.81. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Park Constriction for Improvement Project #05 -20 in the amount of $90,339.81. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment.
