<br />h. An agreement with the City which would authorize and direct the <br />City of Ramsey to remove the sign and sign structure, at the expense <br />of the applicant, where maintenance is required and the maintenance <br />is not furnished, but only after a notice of sixty (60) days specifying <br />the maintenance required by the City. <br /> <br />9.12.18 <br /> <br />Permit Issuance or Denial <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. The Zoning Administrator shall issue a permit for the <br />erection, alteration, or relocation of a sign within fourteen (14) days of receipt of a <br />completed application and non-refundable application fee provided that the sign complies <br />with all applicable laws and regulations of the City. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. When a permit is denied, written notice shall be provided to the <br />applicant along with a brief statement of the reasons for denial. The Zoning <br />Administrator or Building Official may suspend or revoke an issued permit for any false <br />statement or misrepresentation of fact in the application. <br /> <br />9.12.19 <br /> <br />Refunds <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. If an issued permit is withdrawn by the applicant within <br />ninety (90) days of issuance, and if no inspections have been made and no work <br />authorized by the permit has been performed, fifty percent (50%) of the permit fee may <br />be refunded to the applicant. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. A permit issued by the Zoning Administrator becomes null and <br />void if work is suspended or abandoned or not completed within six (6) months of <br />issuance, but may be reinstated with an additional payment of one-half of the original fee. <br /> <br />Subd. 3. Any sign installed or placed on any parcel prior to receipt of a <br />permit, the specified permit fee shall be doubled. However, the payment of the doubled <br />fee shall not relieve any person of any other requirement or penalties prescribed in this <br />Section. <br /> <br />9.12.20 <br /> <br />Administration <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. The Zoning Administrator shall process applications for <br />permits. The Building Official is empowered, upon presentation of proper credentials, to <br />enter or inspect any building, structure, or parcel in the City for the purpose of inspection <br />of a sign and its structural and electrical connections to ensure compliance with all <br />applicable codes and ordinances. <br /> <br />9.12.21 <br /> <br />Violations <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. When, in the opinion of the Zoning Administrator, a <br />violation of the Code exists, the Zoning Administrator shall issue a written order to either <br /> <br />Ordinance #08-07 <br />Page 17 of 19 <br />
