Absent: Councilmember Elvig. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Consider Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EA W) Petition with <br />Regard to Diamonds Sports Bar and Grille; Case of City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that the City received a report from Bolten and Menk on whether an EA W <br />is warranted for this application. <br /> <br />Councilmember Strommen stated that she does not feel the report included what impacts there <br />would be on the environment. She stated that she understands that the application area is not <br />within the critical area conidor and the wild and scenic river district, but feels a full discussion <br />should have happened about this issue. She stated that she is also concerned about the inclusion <br />of a section on a balanced community, which is normally not part of an environmental analysis. <br />She stated that she also does not think that enough consideration was given to the actual guiding <br />documents the City has in place. <br /> <br />City Council / December 11, 2007 <br />Page 6 of 25 <br /> <br />P14 <br />
