<br />c. <br /> <br />30 <br /> <br />7. Items stored outside, even though they may be compliant with <br />the number restrictions described in Subd. 3.b.1 and 2 of this <br />Section, are not exempt from the regulations in Chapter 5.08 <br />(Public Nuisance) section of City Code. <br />8. Miscellaneous items determined to be accessory to a residential <br />use are exempt from the number restrictions described in Subd. <br />3.b.1 and 2 of this Section. Such items may include but are not <br />restricted to the following examples: lawnmowers, garden <br />tractors and various attachments. wheelbarrows. and bicycles. <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />Currently licensed and operable Motor vehicles and equipment, <br />and one unlicensed and operable motor T.'ehicle, the primary <br />purpose of ',vhich is for priyate transportation or recreational use <br />may be parked in the front yard only if on a driveway. or" in the <br />side or rear yard provided they are parked on a residential parking <br />surface that consists of either bituminous pavement or concrete <br />inside the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA), or on a <br />minimum of recycled concrete, bituminous, or prepared gravel <br />outsjde the outside the boundaries of the MUSA. <br /> <br />3. A residential parking surface shall be at least 2 inches in depth, <br />be applied to the entire area beneath the motor vehicle or <br />equipment. and extend 12 inches beyond the perimeter of the <br />motor vehicle or equipment. <br /> <br />b. Equipment, the primary purpose of which is for private or <br />personal' recreational use, may be parked in the front yard if on a <br />drh'eway or in the side yard on a residential parldng surface of <br />either bituminous pavement or concrete, or outside the boundaries <br />of the :MUS}.. on a minimum of recycled concrete, bituminous, or <br />prepared gravel, or in the rear yard. <br /> <br />d. Commercial use motor vehicles and equipment may be parked <br />outside for short-term periods (8 hours or less) or for long terms <br />under the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. The vehicles and/or equipment shall be screened to a degree of <br />75% at ground level view from the public right-of-way and <br />adiacent properties. <br /> <br />2. The vehicles and/or equipment shall be parked only on the side <br />yard or rear yard of the subject property and said items shall be <br />parked on a residential parking surface that consists of either <br />bituminous pavement or concrete, or outside the boundaries of <br />the MUSA on a minimum of con bit or prepared gravel with at <br />least 2 inches in depth, base-applied to the entire area beneath <br />
