<br />Business Spotlight <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Diamond Graphics, Inc. <br />Coming to Ramsey in 2008 <br /> <br />Diamond Graphics, Inc. <br />(DGI) is a full service plastic printer <br />and pre-paid card manufacturer. Cel- <br />ebrating 10 years of operation, DGI <br />serves the stored value, telecommu- <br />nications and direct mail marketing <br />industries and produces over 150 mil- <br />lion plastic and paper cards per year. <br />The manufacturing systems include <br /> <br />Ramsey Seniors <br /> <br />The Ramsey Seniors met <br />on December 27, with 34 members <br />present. Green Valley Green House <br />gave us two very nice plants for <br />just a minimal charge. The plants <br />were then given away as door prizes <br />during our meeting. The Elk River <br />Silver Tones entertained us with some <br />wonderful songs and stayed to enjoy <br />the pot lucl( luncheon. After dinner <br />Bertha Moe entertained us by playing <br />the piano. <br />On January 24, the Ramsey <br />Seniors met, played Bingo, and had <br />a wonderful time. There were 30 <br />members present in spite of the cold <br />weather! <br />On February 12 we were <br />invited to the Rum River School <br />for a valentine's party. The city was <br />involved in assisting the relocation of <br />this expanding company to Ramsey. <br />The city of Ramsey looks forward <br />to inviting Diamond Graphics into <br />corporate community and playing a <br />positive role in the continuing devel- <br />opment of the city. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />"Water-Smart" Workshop <br /> <br />Attend a "Water-Smart" Worl(shop and learn more about environmen- <br />tally friendly ways to maintain your yard at the same time beautifying it. <br />Utilizing grant funds, the Anoka Conservation District is able to provide <br />this workshop at no cost to participants. Registration is FREE and refreshments <br />will be provided!!! (Limit of two people per household).
