You may proceed with the event with the following restrictions: • A Tent Permit will be required and associated fees paid. A member of the Fire Department will be on -site to inspect the tents. • There can be no event fee collected for the snow boarding event. • There can be no outside music or P.A. system. In addition to the restrictions placed on this weekend's event, a City Council Work Session has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 5:30 p.m. in the Alexander Ramsey Room at the Ramsey Municipal Center. City Council will discuss the possible violation of the existing Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for the property. Section 9.03.05 of City Code grants City Council the authority to call a Public Hearing regarding the existing CUP. Possible outcomes of this Public Hearing include, but are not limited to, suspension or revocation of the existing CUP. The earliest a Public Hearing could be scheduled for is Tuesday, March 25 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Ramsey Municipal Center. Again, please contact the City Clerk's Office anytime there is an event to be planned outdoors that is not specifically listed in your existing CUP. City staff will assist you get the necessary permits in order to proceed with those events. If you have any questions regarding the upcoming process, please feel free to contact me.
