<br />Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-11-312 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENTERING JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH <br />ANOKA COUNTY FOR JURISDICTIONAL CHANGE AND REHABILITATION OF <br />COUNTY ROAD 63 (173RD AVENUE/ 17Sth AVENUE) FROM COUNTY STATE AID <br />HIGHWAY 83 (BAUGH STREET) TO COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY 5 <br />(NOWTHEN BOULEVARD) (CP 08-10-63). ANOKA COUNTY CONTRACT 2007-0604 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County has jurisdiction for CR 63 (17yd Avenue/ 175th Avenue) <br />from CSAH 83 toCSAH 5; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County has proposed revoking the county road status of this <br />segment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County proposes improving this road segment at their expense; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Joint Powers Agreement has been prepared covering the terms of the <br />change of status for this roadway segment. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />The City Council authorizes entering into the Anoka County Contract 2007-0604 revoking <br />the status of CR 63 (173rd Avenue/ 175th Avenue) between CSAH 83 and CSAH 5. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Jeffrey, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Councilmember Look <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-11-312 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
