<br />a. The owner of the home occupation must occupy the dwelling unit on the site <br />of the home occupation. <br /> <br />b. The home occupation is restricted to the dwelling unit, attached or detached <br />garages or accessory buildings. <br /> <br />c. The area set aside for the home occupation in the dwelling unit shall not <br />exceed 20% of the gross living area of the dwelling unit. <br /> <br />d. The area set aside for the home occupation in attached or detached accessory <br />buildings or garages shall not exceed total accessory building space or height <br />allowed on the site of the home occupation, as established in Section 9.11.02 <br />(Accessory Uses & Buildings) of City Code. <br /> <br />e. A minimum of 400 square feet of garage or accessory building space shall be <br />maintained as a primary residential garage (as defined in Section 9.02 of City <br />Code) for indoor parking of vehicles and equipment. <br />f. There shall not be any exterior evidence of the existence of said home <br />occupation such as displays, exterior storage of home. occupation equipment, <br />materials, supplies, inventory or merchandise, unless it is in accordance with <br />Section 9.11.08 (Off-Street Parking) ofthe City Code. <br /> <br />g. No interior or exterior business signs or displays shall be permitted unless <br />otherwise permitted in Section 9.12 (Signs) or Section 9.20 (Zoning <br />Districts). <br /> <br />h. The number of clients or customers permitted at one time shall be limited so <br />as not to create a parking demand in excess of that which can be <br />accommodated on driveway(s) on the site of the home occupation. <br /> <br />1. Off-street parking requirements shall comply with Section 9.11.08 (Off Street <br />Parking), of the City Code. <br /> <br />J. The home occupation shall not generate excessive vehicular traffic in the <br />residential neighborhood. Excessive vehicular traffic for purposes of this <br />section is defined as two vehicle trips per hour per standard 8 hour business <br />day or 16 vehicle trips within a 24 hour period. An increase at a rate of 25% <br />is permitted if the subject property has access from a County, State, or MSA <br />Street. The total traffic trips permitted includes employees, customers, and <br />deliveries. <br /> <br />96 <br />
