Councilmember Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #07-11-309 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 2ND PARTIAL PAYMENT TO DOBOSZINSKI AND SONS INC. FOR PROJECT 07-32 FOX RIDGE STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #07-07-168 approving the plans and specifications and the advertisement for bids for the above-referenced work on July 24, 2007; and WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2007 Street Maintenance Program, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on August 28,2007; and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Doboszinski and Sons Inc. in the amount of $42,453.41. WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Doboszinski and Sons Inc. in the amount of$18,968.23. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Doboszinski and Sons Inc. for Improvement Project 07-32 Fox Ridge Storm Sewer Improvements in the amount of $18,968.23. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of November 27,2007. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Olson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Jeffrey Councilmember Olson .
