<br />Ramsey Police Department Monthly Report <br />February 2008 <br /> <br />Crime Prevention <br /> <br />1. Mayors' Prayer Breakfast - Attended as a NW ACCC board member and representative <br />from the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />2. MN Juvenile Officers Association Planning Committee - Review of this year's annual <br />conference evaluations. Pre-planning fot the next conference. <br /> <br />3. Northwest Anoka County Community Consortium (NW ACCC) Board Meeting- <br />Review monthly activities, staffing considerations and financial reports for Youth First <br />Community of Promise. Also discussed program updates, Mayors' Prayer Breakfast <br />update, 501.c3 Update and the grant calendar. <br /> <br />4. PIMS Entry -Transfer data from our current businesslkeyholder list to the new applicant <br />system in PIMS. <br /> <br />5. Anoka County Safety Camp Planning Meeting - Met with other Anoka County <br />agencies to talk about new presenters for safety camp. <br /> <br />6. Safe Kids Anoka County - Provided a 3-hour child passenger safety technician training <br />for the certified car seat checkers in our Safe Kids Anoka County group. <br /> <br />7. National Night Out Awards Luncheon - Attended the award luncheon which <br />recognized all the communities in MN that received awards from the National <br />Association of Town Watch. <br /> <br />8. Retailer Tobacco Training - For new owner of T & T Liquors. <br /> <br />9. Training - Music & the Internet: Understanding the Challenging Issues That Youth Face. <br />This workshop will include information about popular music groups and what they <br />represent to youth, clothing styles and hidden secrets, and information about myspace, <br />facebook, chatting, blogging & keeping youth safe online. <br /> <br />10.
