<br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />· City of Ramsey - Happy Days - Saturday, September 15,2007 - fee waived <br />Activities included: teen dance, craft show, business expo, classic car show, kids <br />activities including face painting, skate park & inflatables, puppet show, and a fun <br />run, a 5K run for adults, parade, Ramsey Women of Today Bingo, Ramsey Lions <br />BBQ & Beer Garden (liquor permit required - fee waived), Ramsey Rotary car <br />smash, street dance wllive band, and fireworks (pyrotechnic permit required - fee <br />charged $100). The Police 'Department received one complaint wi re to the <br />Happy Days event - it was a report of damage to a vehicle in the Municipal <br />Parking Ramp - (car door hitting vehicle next to it). <br /> <br />· Diamonds - TributelRally for the Troops - Friday & Saturday, May 18 & 19, <br />2007 - fee charged <br />Activities included: motorcycle run, bike show, live bands, food and drinks. The <br />applicant stated that ten percent of the profits would be donated to families of the <br />U.S. troops. A flat fee of $300 was charged which was to cover any <br />administrative costs and police coverage plus site and tent inspections. The <br />Police Department received two complaints with regard to this event at <br />Diamonds; one dealt with a'vehicle towed/impounded (owner was intoxicated) <br />and the other was to report a wallet stolen. No real complaints re the event itself. <br /> <br />· Lord of Life - HarvestFest - Friday, Saturday & Sunday, September 7, 8 & 9, <br />2007 - fee waived <br />Activities included: carnival rides (carnival permit required - fee waived)~ kids <br />games, bingo, food vendors, raffles, silent auction, wine tasting, 3.2 beer sales <br />(liquor permit required - fee waived), outdoor music concerts, and fireworks <br />(pyrotechnic permit required - fee charged $100). Fees were charged for Police <br />($4,350) and Fire ($955) coverage, for a total of $5,305. The Police Department <br />received three complaints during HarvestFest. One complaint related to loud <br />noise from fireworks and the other to the music from the outdoor concert. The <br />third complaint was a threat - reported at HarvestF est - but unrelated to the event. . <br /> <br />· St. Katharine Drexel- Party in the Park - Saturday, June 17,2007 - fee waived <br />Activities included: children's games and activities, raffle, beer (liquor permit <br />required - fee waived), food, and a .live band. Fees were charged for Police <br />($780) coverage. No complaints were reported to the Police Department. <br /> <br />· John Enstrom - Military Dedication - Sunday, September 2,2007 - fee waived <br />Activities included: dedication of monument, food, and fireworks. No fees were <br />charged for Police or Fire coverage as per Council direction. No complaints were <br />registered with the Police Department. <br /> <br />-5- <br />
